Birth: 1973, Yancheng, Jiangsu Province

Education & Early Career:

  • 1992–2000: B.Sc., M.Sc., and Ph.D. in Computer Science & Technology, Nanjing University.
  • 2001: Joined Nanjing University faculty.
  • 2002: Appointed associate professor (exceptional promotion).
  • 2003: Funded by National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars; promoted to full professor at age 30.
  • 2004: Became Ph.D. supervisor.
